Pawville Real Estate Holdings, LLC recently purchased land at 3530 Carolina Beach Road to build its next facility. This will mark the fourth Pawville location in the pack, which initially launched in Florida but moved its operational footprint to North Carolina in 2012 when ownership relocated to the Tar Heel state. The business offers boutique pet services and boarding, currently with sites in Homosassa, Fl., Surf City N.C. and Jacksonville N.C.
“We’re thrilled about the vision for this new Wilmington location,” said Pawville Real Estate Holdings co-founder Phil Miller. “It will offer a wide range of pet services, including boarding, grooming, training, dog daycare, self-serve dog washes and more. It’s really going to serve as our prototype for all Pawvilles going forward.”
When completed, the new Pawville will house some 9,000 sq. feet of space devoted to comforting the Port City’s furriest residents. Features like a dog treat bakery will greet visitors.
Miller – who graduated in 2013 with an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington – along with his wife Amanda – Pawville co-founder and former vet tech – have big plans for the latest addition to the brand.
“There really won’t be anything else like it in this market,” Miller said. “Wilmington is such a great pet community that cherishes its dogs and cats. Our concept should really resonate with those wanting only the best care for their little companions.”
Construction is slated to begin fall 2019. Miller said the goal is to have the Carolina Beach Road location open to the public by summer 2020.
The property also includes Bone & Bean BBQ. Miller said his group will continue to lease that building to the restaurant and develop the new Pawville right behind it.
“I think we’ll actually find some synergies between the two businesses,” he said. “We’re excited to have them as neighbors and give our pet owners the convenience of a great eating spot right on site.”...Read More
