The Pawville Story

Our Story Began 2006

The Pawville story began in 2006 when Phil and Amanda Miller found a 5,000 sq ft pet store in Citrus County, FL and invested their savings and sweat equity to purchase and convert it into a pet boarding and grooming facility. From the start, they chose to focus heavily on the customer experience. This meant 1) investing heavily to train and retain high quality staff and 2) re-invest in their facility. This twin approach resulted in a satisfied and growing customer base which would provide the bedrock for future success.

In 2012

After moving to North Carolina, Phil and Amanda opened their second location in 2012. This facility followed a similar trajectory as their FL location to become the most popular pet services facility in the Topsail, NC region.

In 2015

Our Jacksonville, NC facility was added to the family when Pawville acquired the property at 471 Center St. With a solid team of loving staff and an intense focus on the quality of the customer experience, Jacksonville Pawville has developed a loyal following of customers.

Pawville Today

In 2020, Pawville began construction on Midtown Pawville (in Wilmington, NC) and acquired North Shore Pawville in Sneads Ferry, NC.  With five locations in the Southeast, Pawville continues to evolve and grow – adding service offerings and locations when these changes will help enhance the consumer experience for their human clients and their four-legged guests.

Eryn is an animal lover to the core!  Her pets include 2 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, donkey, and gecko.  In fact, she's going to school to become a vet and eventually make animals healthier and happier on a large scale.  Her favorite pastime?  Taking pictures... of dogs (of course).

Rachel is a devoted USMC wife who loves living here on the Carolina coast.  She has a 3 year old black lab named Daisy May who loves to hang out at her favorite fishing/beach spots with mom and dad. Rachel is super devoted to animal well-being and most importantly FUN. Nobody gets the dogs going out in the play yard quite like she can.
